Meet our Staff

A woman with long red hair wearing a white Georgia State University Physical Therapy lab coat stands outdoors in Atlanta, smiling at the camera—ready to make a difference in pediatric physical therapy.

Amy Dobb, PT, DPT

Hi, I’m Amy, a Doctor of Physical Therapy passionate about helping children and young athletes reach their full potential through fun, challenging, and personalized care.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sport Science from The University of Georgia, followed by my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University in 2022. With over 4 years of experience in outpatient settings, I’ve worked extensively in both pediatric and orthopedic/sports medicine environments.

My expertise includes supporting children with a wide range of diagnoses, such as developmental delays, torticollis, toe walking, Autism Spectrum Disorder, congenital heart disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. I’ve also specialized in aquatic physical therapy, particularly for children with cerebral palsy, to build strength, mobility, and confidence in a supportive, low-impact setting.

I believe every session should be engaging and enjoyable—I create creative challenges and a positive atmosphere to motivate my patients and help them become their best selves.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find me playing pickleball, cheering on the Dawgs, walking my chocolate lab Goose, or spending quality time with my family. These activities keep me active and remind me why movement matters!

I’m excited to partner with you and your child on their journey, let’s get moving!

Sherry, Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant

Hi, I’m Sherry, a pediatric occupational therapy assistant who graduated from Keiser University in 2021, and I’ve been working in pediatrics for over four years now. Helping children grow, gain independence, and build confidence (all while having fun!) is truly what I love most.

When I’m not in the clinic, I’m at the barn specializing in Hippotherapy, where I use the movement of horses as part of therapy to support balance, coordination, strength, and sensory processing. Even in the clinic setting, I bring those same movement-based, creative principles into my sessions to keep therapy engaging, meaningful, and anything but boring.

Working with kids has always been a big part of my life. Before becoming a COTA, I was a party host at Sky Zone and spent three years involved in youth theatre—so I’m no stranger to high energy, imagination, and making things fun!

I love building strong relationships with both my patients and their families. I believe the best progress happens when we work together, and I strive to create a space where kids feel comfortable, confident, and excited to come to therapy. My goal is always to help children grow while making sure they’re smiling along the way.
